Students work with appropriate modules from classical texts in performance. The focus is on the performer as receiver and the study of the techniques of spoken voice and heightened prose, characterisation in classical texts, research of the theatre conventions of the period. Studio presentations are the project's outcome.

Learning Objectives:

to enable students to synthesise acting skills acquired in previous subjects through interpreting classical texts in performance.

Assessment by presentations (50%); rehearsal process (50%).
