Production Project 1A

Up to 160 hours practicum. Semester 2.

Available to BT students only.

Technical production students choose from modules covering such areas as: assistant stage management; lighting for theatre; sound for theatre; props and set construction; wardrobe management and all design elements. Students actively engage as part of specific teams to meet the technical support needs of public performance.

Learning Objectives:

to enable students to identify, employ and obtain mastery of fundamental key competencies necessary for application to professional theatre.

Assessment by lecturer's report on project participation (50%); essays (50%).
