Technical production students learn the importance of sound for theatre. Areas of study include sourcing of sound; use of music and effects; the technology of sound systems; recording, editing and assembling of basic sound systems.
Learning Objectives:
to enable students to identify, employ and obtain mastery of fundamental key competencies necessary for application to professional theatre.
Assessment by quizzes/tests (25%); practical competency test (25%); project of making three types of recordings (50%).
