The focus of this subject is on the development of additional knowledge and skills in the field of forensic psychology. Seminars will be conducted through a combination of traditional, video and audio-conference and internet formats. Topics will be based upon a basic core of readings on advanced forensic topics and topics of particular interest to individual students.

Learning Objectives:

acquire knowledge and skills consistent with the ability to intervene with complex or less common disorders in forensic settings;

demonstrate the ability to analyse the clinical literature and develop new skills or greater knowledge as a result.

Assessment by written reports (60%); seminar participation (20%); practical skills (20%).
