This subject reviews the environmental and biological factors that influence psychological development from birth to late life. Ethical factors in making legal and medical decisions are related to the psychological and physical disorders that can compromise capacity. Students are provided with skills for assisting clients and families affected by common developmental disorders in children and adolescents and chronic disorders in adults.
