Available, at the discretion of the Head of College, to all students with a BPhotog or equivalent qualification undertaking the BPhotog(Hons) research degree.
Students will write a thesis of at least 10,000 words demonstrating mastery of methodology and research area appropriate to honours level.
Learning Objectives:
develop technical and aesthetic aspects of photography;
develop critical appraisal and evaluation of current research in photography;
become competent in a range of relevant research techniques;
further abilities as an independent researcher and photographer by following an individual program of research.
Assessment by presentation of thesis (10,000 words) having a supportive relationship to the exhibition (100%).
