Issues in Contemporary Photography

This subject examines the many issues that concern the photographer in contemporary society, such as the use of the digital camera and computer imaging. These issues are analysed in their historical context and the role of the photographer assessed accordingly. Examination of the appropriation of the photographic medium by technology will be done in parallel with highlighting the photographer's own work practices.
