Professional Pharmacy Placement 1
Available to level 3 Bachelor of Pharmacy students.

The subject will provide a minimum of 225 hours (six weeks at 37.5 hours) of supervised clinical pharmacy placement with flexible support from the University to integrate and develop previously learnt material with new observational and practical clinical training.
The placement will be either rural or urban (hospital, community or industry) at an advanced level and will enable the student to apply, develop, analyse and integrate the theories, principles and practice of pharmacy in a variety of settings.
Students may be required to undertake clinical placement in a facility away from the campus at which they are currently enrolled, at their own expense.

Assessment by clinical placement performance report (pass/fail); attendance record (pass/fail); placement workbook (pass/fail). Satisfactory performance in all aspects of the subject is required to pass. This is defined as pass standard in all sections of the course. Attendance at placements is compulsory.
