Honours Thesis and Presentation

39 hours lectures, 10 hours tutorials, 4 hours seminars, 65 hours supervision, 52 hours other. Full year.

Available to Bachelor of Occupational Therapy Honours students only.

Students are required to collate their data and analyse for their honours research under academic staff supervision (at least 65 hours supervision). Preparation of a thesis is required to demonstrate the student's ability to analyse data, critically evaluate results and report findings in a scholarly manner. The student is also required to present at a professional seminar on the details of their research work.

Learning Objectives:

undertake undergraduate research project;

collate and analyse the data gathered;

prepare a scholarly research thesis;

present an academic level seminar on research area/results.

Assessment by seminar presentation (25%); thesis (75%).
