The subject deals with the concept, practice and environment of integrated marketing communications, including in-depth consideration of each part of the promotion mix.

Learning Objectives:

to enable students to communicate with a range of internal and external audiences in oral and written format;

to understand the fundamentals of promotion and integrated marketing information;

to recognise the elements of effective visual communications;

to examine face-to-face communication in the marketing context;

to understand media advertising;

to examine the ever-growing practice of sales promotion;

to consider other supportive tools of marketing communication.
