65 contact hours. Internal or Limited Attendance Semester 2.

Available to level 2 medical students or other health science students, with the approval of the respective Head of School and the Dean of Medicine.

The subject provides basic knowledge and skills to enable students to investigate in depth a chosen area of health professional practice. Students will extend and consolidate their knowledge and expertise through a project that is supervised by an approved member of staff with appropriate expertise.

Learning Objectives:

To be negotiated with the supervisor.

On-course assessment (100%) of log diaries, written assignments or oral presentations. Attendance at clinical placements, where applicable, is compulsory.
