After completing the minor project and seminar satisfactorily, candidates will undertake an independent research investigation on a topic which must be approved by the Course Coordinator and the appropriate Head of School. The independent project will normally stem from the minor project, but this will not be obligatory. Candidates will be expected to complete a thesis of sufficient quality to satisfy the examiners.
