Literature Review

Semester 1 or 2.

The student will undertake a literature review on a topic selected in consultation with their supervisor. The topic should be pertinent to the student's research project. The review should be a critical appraisal of the objectives and results of previous research in the area.

Learning Objectives:

to introduce the student to the literature in the area of their project;

to give the student experience in the evaluation of result in that area.

Assessment will be based on the written report.
