An introduction to the role played by legal institutions such as the judiciary, the jury system, the legal profession and the courts, within the jurisprudential and constitutional framework of the Australian legal system; access to justice including a module on Indigenous Australians and the law; introduction to legal theory through the study of legal liberalism and feminist legal theories.
to achieve a sound level of understanding in relation to the present legal and constitutional framework of the Australian legal system;
