Principles of Criminal Law B

26 hours lectures, 12 hours tutorials. Semester 2.

Available to all level 1 students.

Selected offences including non-fatal offences; property offences; drug offences; sexual offences and related defences. Other topics covered include secondary liability; inchoate offences and special pleas.

Learning Objectives:

obtain familiarity with certain offences and defences;

develop and apply legal analysis skills.

Assessment by final examination (70%); assignment (30%) (subject to variation).
