Radio Documentary

Available ONLY to students enrolled in accredited Journalism programs.

This subject develops students' skill in radio news and current affairs and applies them to the production of documentaries. Students will research topics, conduct interviews, script and edit to final cut at least two radio documentaries.

Learning Objectives:

the ability to apply radio journalism skills to broadcast-quality documentary production;

the ability to program radio documentaries into a radio schedule and put those documentaries to air.

Assessment by tutorial attendance and participation (10%); original radio documentary work (50%); original radio documentary for broadcast (40%).
