This subject continues building advanced level communicative skills across the four macro-skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing.

Learning Objectives:

to equip students with the skills necessary to comprehend to a fair degree of detail the content of films, TV dramas, newspaper and magazine articles; summarise such, both in speech and in writing; satisfy routine requirements of everyday social situations.

Assessment by assignments, in-class tests, oral/aural and written examinations: listening (25%); speaking (25%); reading (25%); writing (25%).
