Interpreting Research
Available to students with a Bachelor of Indigenous Studies degree or equivalent.
Ms F Watkin.
This subject focuses on the analysis and interpretation of data collected qualitatively. It takes into account theories that assist in the construction of meaning for data from Indigenous contexts. Students are taught to systematically code and create themes from data sources such as interviews, focus groups and document analysis. They are also shown how to write qualitatively in an analytical style.
