This subject is an intensive subject that will be held at an island research station (Moreton Bay Research Laboratory). The subject focuses on approaches to managing tropical marine environments. It examines the impacts of human activities on coastal and marine environments. It explores the complex relationships among the ecological and social values of these environments and outlines strategies and tools for their management.
