External nationally and internationally and internal on campus. Semester 1 and 2.

Available to Master of Education students.

Staff:

Supervisor appointed as required.

A dissertation may be in one of two forms. It may be a research study involving gathering data, or a synthesis and critical review of literature, relating to an approved Education topic. A dissertation should be at least 10,000 words. Candidates must successfully complete a proposal before proceeding to a dissertation.

Learning Objectives:

To prepare a research study or a synthesis and critical review of literature relating to an approved Education topic.

Assessment by examination of dissertation by two examiners appointed by the School of Education.
