Review of the development of accounting theory and exploration of the impact of contemporary organisational and behavioural issues on management accounting.
Learning Objectives:
demonstrate an understanding of the development of management accounting theory;
discuss the various methodologies employed;
demonstrate an indepth knowledge and understanding of the impact of organisational and behavioural issues on management accounting.
Assessment by projects (70%); class participation (including case presentation) (30%).
