Accounting for Decision Making
Available to level 1 non-accounting students.
Mr D Smorfitt (Cairns campus).
This subject will emphasise the application and interpretation of accounting information for decision making and the underlying concepts, rather than on the collection of data and procedural aspects of accounting. It will focus on the following three areas: understanding of accounting reports; analysis of accounting information and use of accounting information in various business decisions.

demonstrate a basic understanding of how accounting information can be used in management decision making;
