Literature Review

This project involves independent study and research over a period of four-six weeks during which period regular contact will be maintained with the project supervisor. Semester 1 and 2.

Available to postgraduate students enrolled in the School of Tropical Biology.

Candidates will prepare a review of the literature on a topic chosen in consultation with the Course Coordinator and the supervisor of the candidate's research program.

Learning Objectives:

enhance reading, writing and presentation skills;

learn how to prepare a critical literature review;

identify important research issues;

enhance knowledge and understanding of a specified area of biology.

Assessment by completion of a literature review (100%).
