Entrepreneurship

40 hours lectures. Semester 2 (Sydney and Melbourne). Block mode in November (Townsville campus); October (Cairns campus).

This subject explores the motivation, strategies, concerns and behaviour of entrepreneurship in all organisations, both small and large. Students learn the techniques for generating creative opportunities, how to investigate opportunities and how to prepare and present effective business plans to financiers and other decision makers.

Learning Objectives:

critical appreciation of the theories, concepts, methods and empirical knowledge used in entrepreneurship.

Assessment to be advised by first week of lectures.
