Rainforest Field Techniques

A two week field subject in a rainforest environment. November/December block mode at Paluma.

Staff:

Ms A Cairns.

Week 1 -- lectures and practical classes: identification of plants, description of components of the rainforest ecosystem.

Week 2 -- ecological techniques, pollination and reproductive biology, floristics of rainforest and associated vegetation types.

Assessment by examination and/or seminars and assignments.
