Available to Graduate Diploma of Tourism students only.
Staff: Mr A Birtles (Townsville campus); Dr N Black (Cairns campus).
A research project of relevance to the tourism industry on a topic approved by Head of School and course coordinators.
This is a supervised project marked by two examiners from the Tourism staff.
Learning Objectives:
- to develop research and problem solving skills;
- to develop independent and conceptual thinking skills;
- to develop industry report preparation and presentation skills.
Assessment by research report (80%); conference presentation (20%).
