Full year Limited Attendance. Students may commence in Semester 1 or 2.
Available to students admitted to the Doctor of Psychology program.
Staff: Assoc. Professor E Helmes and other clinical staff.
This subject represents the stages of data collection and analysis and the preparation of the final thesis. The length of the thesis is normally between 30,000 and 50,000 words. The thesis should provide a contribution to knowledge in the field of applied psychology.
Learning Objectives:
- conduct applied research at an advanced level and provide detailed evidence of their skill in testing hypotheses and command of the relevant research literature.
Assessment by dissertation which shall be produced in accord with APA (4th Ed.) format and should be submitted in conventional formal (15,000-25,000 words).
