Available to Bachelor of Photography students.
Students enrolling in this subject will gain further insight and experience in a variety of fields of professional photography. A series of guest lectures, demonstrations and participation in live work projects will enhance students’ understanding of, and ability to operate within, a professional work environment.
Learning Objectives:
- evaluating how best to meet a client’s needs from the supplied brief;
- achieving the best possible match between client’s needs and photographic product within the given parameters;
- asserting the student’s own philosophic and artistic values and preferences in interactions with clients;
- expressing the student’s own philosophic and artistic viewpoints and capabilities through their photographic work.
Assessment by two folios of work produced for actual clients (80%); participation in workshops and practicals (20%).
