Research Project

Full year.
The student will undertake a research project on a topic approved by the Head of School and selected in consultation with their supervisor. The supervisor will normally be a staff member in Mathematics and Statistics.
Learning Objectives:
- to introduce the student to the literature in the area of his or her project;
- to give the student experience in the evaluation of result in that area.
Assessment will be based on the written report.
