13 hours workshops/seminars. Semester 1.
Available to Bachelor of Journalism honours students.
In consultation with an appropriate member of staff, the student develops and pursues a program of independent study relating to a specific area of journalism studies.
Learning Objectives:
- to develop skills of independent study and research;
- to develop specialist knowledge of an area of journalism.
Assessment by oral presentation of research (20%); supervised research paper of 5000 words (80%).
