This subject presents a range of contemporary issues in Information Systems Management.

Learning Objectives:

1. write an IT specification for system acquisition and testing from an existing analysis of an Information System;
2. conduct Performance Evaluation and Benchmarking;
3. understand the essential concepts and technologies supporting electronic commerce;
4. learn how to develop a Web presence for an organisation.

Assessment by mid-semester tests (10%); assignments (40%); final examination (50%).
