This subject aims to present the major principles of crop production in tropical climates.

Learning Objectives:

  1. to study the growth physiology, agronomy, pest control, breeding and cropping of contrasting crops: rice (cereal), soybean (grain legume), sugarcane (commodity crop) and mangoes (tree crop).

Assessment by examination and/or written assignment and seminar.
