Learning Objectives:

  1. discuss critically the differences between professional and non-professional approaches to helping;
  2. outline the main roles and responsibilities associated with professional practice;
  3. articulate socially-just welfare practice approaches;
  4. describe, analyse and evaluate a “case” scenario by accessing information, assessing the situation, formulating and implementing a plan of action and evaluating what you have done.

Assessment by presentation and/or written assignment (100%).
