Tourism Marketing

This subject addresses applications of marketing research methods for tourism. The unique issues associated with services and tourism marketing are identified and discussed.

Learning Objectives:

  1. to supplement basic marketing knowledge by focussing on problems and strategies specific to service organisations, tourism in particular;
  2. to examine the uniqueness of the tourism industry marketing environment, its problems and strategies to overcome these difficulties;
  3. to develop skills in marketing report preparation.
