Available to students admitted to the Honours program in Journalism.
This is the obligatory 15,000 word Honours thesis requiring concentrated scholarship and research on a topic related to the student’s experience in journalism and media studies.
Learning Objectives:
- acquire deeper and more extensive knowledge of journalism and mass media following on from studies in journalism at undergraduate level;
- develop advanced skills of inquiry, analysis and presentation of argument in these fields.
Assessment by a panel of examiners selected on the advice of the Head of School and the Director of Postgraduate Studies.
