This subject follows on from Television 1 and is designed to provide students with practical experience in multi-camera studio production. It also involves liaising with community clients, the selection of suitable creative material, research, scripting, preproduction, location production, editing and multi camera studio production.

Learning Objectives:

  1. the ability to conduct negotiations with community clients and identify production needs.;
  2. the ability to isolate an idea or issue and undertake the research necessary to convert the material into a producible form;
  3. the ability to undertake the necessary production management activities to ensure the production is possible;
  4. the ability to undertake practical single camera location production;
  5. the ability to undertake multi camera studio production.

Assessment by single camera and multi camera production assignments (100%).
