Lectures will discuss worldwide issues impacting rainforest wildlife, including threatening processes and the various approaches for measuring and monitoring species and community health. Students will critically analyse case studies with the aid of geographic information systems and, by working in groups, develop approaches for management.

  3. gain experience working in collaborative, interdisciplinary groups and in giving presentations.

Assessment by final examination (30%); final project report (30%); individual presentation (20%); group presentation (20%).
