This subject establishes the importance of communication and information management in contemporary business practice. It seeks to build skills in written and oral communication and pays attention to the standards and practices of writing and delivering business messages. It approaches the topics of business communication and information management using an array of methods and disciplinary perspectives.

Learning Objectives:

  1. build an awareness of the credibility of good communication and information management in contemporary business;
  2. develop a range of specific skills pertaining to written and oral communication;
  3. build and enhance computer skills in communication and information management with a business orientation.
