26 lectures, 12 tutorials. First semester. Partial intensive mode format. Also offered at Holmes College in Sydney and Melbourne, first and second semester and January/February intensive block mode.

An introduction to the complexities of contemporary hotel and resort management. Practical studies will include the development of a resort feasibility.

Learning Objectives:

  1. understand the management structures of hotels together with the current administrative systems;
  2. understand the associated areas of service and security;
  3. understand the steps involved in bringing to operational fruition a resort-hotel complex.
