This subject extends the students’ knowledge of pathophysiological processes and pharmacological interventions in relation to health and disease. The systems include endocrine, gastroenterology, immunity and neurological pathophysiological states and their pharmacological management.

Learning Objectives:

  1. pathophysiolgoical processes;
  2. fundamental concepts of pharmacology in treating disease.

Assessment by examination (70%); tutorial attendance (10%); written assignments (20%).
