Prerequisites: Admission to Public Policy Honours program on recommendation of Course Convenor and relevant HoS(s)

26 hours supervision. Full year.

Available to Public Policy Honours Program students on recommendation of Course Convenor and relevant Head of School(s).

Staff: Individual supervisors.

The Public Policy Honours thesis provides an opportunity for students to complete an original piece of research in public policy. It involves regular meetings with a research supervisor(s) and presentations to public policy seminars.

Learning Objectives:

  1. develop research and writing skills required to complete a substantial independent research project in public policy;
  2. achieve a professional level of expertise in a selected area of public policy.

Assessment by thesis (100%) which will be examined by two examiners approved by relevant Head of School(s).
