Dynamics of the human body, mass and inertial characteristics of the human body and human body segments, analysis of force systems, mathematical modelling of biomechanical systems, performance and strength, theoretical limits to performance.

Learning Objectives:

  1. to understand the theoretical concepts covered in lectures;
  2. to be able to formulate and solve problems related to these topics;
  3. to undertake experimental work and write laboratory reports.

Assessment by examination (70%); practicals (30%).
