Health Professional Independent Study

Townsville

6 lectures, 4 hours workshops, 20 hours flexible delivery. First and second semester.

Available to students enrolled in postgraduate studies in Occupational Therapy with recognised prior learning as approved by the Head of Occupational Therapy.

The subject provides basic knowledge to enable students to develop skills to investigate in depth a chosen area of health professional practice

Students will extend and consolidate their knowledge and expertise in a chosen area of health professional service

Completion of the learning activity will enhance health service delivery in a variety of community settings.

Learning Objectives:

These are different for each individual student and will be negotiated with a supervisor.

On-course assessment to include oral presentation and written assignment (100%).
