Quality Operations Management

26 lectures, 12 tutorials. Second semester. Flexible delivery. Also offered at Holmes College in Sydney and Melbourne, first and second semester and January/February intensive block mode.

The subject deals with the theory and practice of quality management as it relates to enterprises in Australia, with a focus on introducing quality management into an organisation and the ongoing management of the “quality” system.

Learning Objectives:

  1. outline some of the definitions of quality management;
  2. describe a number of the critical success factors in an effective “quality” system;
  3. students to construct their own views on how to implement and manage a “quality” system.
