Prerequisites: Completion of BJ or equivalent

13 lectures. First and second semester.

This subject enables students to develop their capabilities and organised knowledge of the field in under-study roles with practitioners, or to make a more detailed examination of communication issues engaged by the public affairs industry. It will be orientated towards professional preparation for work in public relations and public affairs.

Assessment through consultation and reports organised among supervisors, professional mentors and the student, or through presentation of a detailed research report, extended article or micro thesis. Approval may be given to submit findings wholly or in part in an electronic format or on film.
