A significant review or synthesis of an important issue relating to Indigenous research approved by the Head of School. Original research (including replication studies) may be conducted but is not required. Skills of analysis and synthesis and appropriate theoretical and methodological application are expected of the order appropriate to a Masters Thesis. A thesis is normally supervised by an academic staff member of the School and joint supervision with other schools is encouraged.
Learning Objectives:
- demonstrate understanding and mastery of a disciplinary area of Indigenous research with the scholarly expectations of a higher degree.
Assessment by a thesis of approximately 15,000 words.
