E-Business Topics

This subject will cover emerging technologies and applications in the rapidly developing E-Business field. This may include topics such as on-line security, business to business information architecture, change management, legal considerations and e-commerce authentication/encryption/secure transfer technologies. The actual topics covered will vary over time and will be advised prior to the first week of class. This subject is offered when there is sufficient student interest in a topic and the required resources are available.

Learning Objectives:

  1. understanding of the principles and practice of the topics covered, at a level appropriate for postgraduate studies, including analysis and design.

On-course assessment in the form of assignments and reports during the semester, including a feasibility and design project. Full details of the assessment will be handed out in class during the first week of the semester and posted on the Web.
