The problems, issues and activities associated with the management of information systems. The techniques for developing information systems.

Learning Objectives:

  1. identify, and discuss the problems, issues and activities associated with managing an organisation’s Information System resources – the technologies, data, applications and personnel;
  2. describe, compare and contrast techniques for developing information systems;
  3. demonstrate an ability to plan and control the development and implementation of an information system.
