Selected advanced topics in Company Law.

Learning Objectives:

  1. determine the legal rights and obligations of persons being investigated by the Australian Securities Commission;
  2. explain the legal effects of companies granting securities over their assets and undertaking;
  3. describe the legal procedures involved in winding companies up and in administering insolvent companies;
  4. specify the legal procedures that are involved in company takeovers;
  5. inform those involved in the operations of unincorporated associations of their legal rights and responsibilities.

Assessment by on-course test (20%); final examination (80%).
