The determination of systems requirements in a business context and the design and implementation of an operational system.
Learning Objectives:
- describe the core activities in the development process for business information systems;
- describe and use the tools and techniques required for the analysis and design of effective business information systems;
- demonstrate an ability to prepare the functional system specification for a business information system to be implemented with the aid of CASE software.
Assessment by class test/s (15%); assignment/s (20%); final examination (65%).
